Why Circus?

Historically, the circus is a place that welcomes people of diverse backgrounds. People come together to achieve the impossible. Circus celebrates individuality, while also emphasizing the necessity of community! Cirque Us believes that the circus is a place for everyone.

We offer a wide range of circus programming ranging from 1 hour workshops to 2 weeks camps. Our coaches are able to teach students at any level, and will set appropriate and challenging goals in a safe and positive environment.

Since its inception, Cirque Us has taught workshops and camps across the country, offering dozens of workshops from free juggling workshops at public libraries, to advanced workshops for circus schools!

Cirque Us has teamed up with a number of organizations to offer circus camps as part of their camp programming. Our camps utilize professional touring circus artists that are able to teach the secrets and skills needed to become a professional artist intertwined with traditional camp activities .  Whether you are looking for professional training, to increase skills, or just have an unforgettable summer, Cirque Us camps are for you!

Want to create an unforgettable learning opportunity for your students? Look no further than a Cirque Us Residency. Our residencies bring circus arts directly into the classroom for an immersive experience. Students will gain access to study guides and videos as well as in class activities with circus artists. Our artists will also take over gym classes to allow students to participate in acrobatics,  aerials, clowning and juggling lessons. The residency can accumulate with a final performance where students and professional share the stage in a demonstration open to the public!

Boston, MA 

June 23rd – June 27th

Wheelock Family Theatre
We will kick off our summer program with a rousing week-long exploration of the theatrical world of the circus. Professional Boston area circus artists will lead classes each day in circus skills, such as clowning, juggling, tumbling, spinning plates, hula hoops, acrobatics, Chinese yo-yo, and more! In partnership with Cirque Us, students will learn the skill and storytelling involved in contemporary circus performance all together, making for a three-ring circus of an experience!

Upper Valley Circus Camp

Our programs are designed to introduce humans of all abilities to a variety of circus skills while also increasing their confidence, strength, flexibility, individual talents, team building and social skills. Participants can try their hand at all the circus skills including juggling, unicycle, fabric, lyra, trapeze, wire walking, pie throwing, water spitting, rola-bola, acrobatics, human pyramids, clowning & more!
