Cirque Us

Education

Since its inception, Cirque Us has hired professional circus instructors to teach workshops and camps across the country. Some of our teaching credits include: Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School, Circus Culture, Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center, Northern Stage, The Sellam Circus School and the Smithsonian FolkLife Festival. In 2019, Cirque Us formed a partnership with the Upper Valley Circus Camp and collaborated with the organization to design and implement a safe and fun circus curriculum.

Cirque Us believes that the circus is a place for everyone. We offer a wide range of circus programming ranging from 1 hour workshops to 2 weeks camps. Our coaches are able to teach students at any level, and will set appropriate and challenging goals in a safe and positive environment.

Why Circus?

Historically, the circus is a place that welcomes people of diverse backgrounds. People come together to achieve the impossible. Circus celebrates individuality, while also emphasizing the necessity of community!

What We Offer

Students will explore ground-based disciplines in circus arts. They will develop their tumbling skills and work with various apparatus. Skills include juggling, hula hooping, acrobatics, rolling globes, stilt walking, pyramid-building, tight-wire, unicycling and more! All equipment included.

Students try everything in “group camp”, and will also experiment with aerial arts. Students can safely try Aerial Trapeze, Rope, Straps, Hoop, Fabric, and more! (Cirque Us can provide all rigging and two free standing aerial rigs).

Our performance camps and workshops end the session with a student show demonstrating the skills they’ve learned! This camp or workshop allows friends and family to see the progress of their loved ones! Performance program is available for both Ground and Aerial Camps and Workshops.

We Also Offer

All camps are available in either a 1 or 2 week session. Multiple session discounts available. For more information email info@thecirqueus.com.
